Dog-Friendly

We allow well behaved dogs in one area of the restaurant however you must inform us at the time of booking if you are bringing your dog so that you will be seated in this area.

Well behaved dogs are also allowed in the garden. Dogs must be on leads at all times.

We operate the Challenge 21 policy so you will be asked to provide ID if we believe you look under 21. It is Marston's policy that you must be over the age of 18 to consume alcohol at The Woodyard.

We don't have our own car park but we are next to the Bakewell Bridge Public Car Park. It is pay on exit. Please note that Derbyshire Dales Council Parking Permits are not able to be used in this car park.

Taxi services are limited in Bakewell so we would always recommend booking in advance. 

It is best to search for The Woodyard on Google Maps and get directions to the restaurant that way rather than using our postcode which covers a large area of Bakewell.

We do not take bookings for groups larger than 12 guests. 

Outside tables are available on a first come first served basis and we will only be serving outside if the weather permits.
